This policy explains how Digital Now Solutions GmbH ("Signalist") uses email, and what you can do if you received a message you did not want.
1. Mail we send from signalist.io
The domain signalist.io carries our web application (app.signalist.io), its API (api.signalist.io) and our company website. We send two kinds of mail from it:
- Service emails from our application, such as password resets, invitations to a workspace and notifications about your account. They go only to people who have an account with us or were invited by their team, and they concern only that account.
- Individual business correspondence from our team, for example replies to customers, prospects and partners. Each message is written by a named person and can be answered directly.
2. What signalist.io is never used for
- Newsletters, bulk or promotional mailings
- Mail to purchased or rented address lists
- Link shorteners, redirects or tracking links on behalf of third parties
3. Mail our customers send with Signalist
Signalist is software that companies use for their own sales communication. Those messages are sent from our customers' own mailboxes and domains, not from signalist.io, and our customers are the senders. Our Terms require every customer to comply with the applicable data protection and unfair competition laws, in particular the GDPR and the German UWG, before contacting anyone (see our Terms, sections 6.2 and 9.1).
4. Opting out and reporting a message
- Did you get an email from someone at Signalist and do not want further emails? Reply to it or write to contact@signalist.io. We stop at once.
- Did you get an unwanted message that was sent with Signalist by one of our customers? Forward it, with its headers if possible, to contact@signalist.io. We investigate every report and take action under our Terms, up to suspending the account (section 4.1).
